Description

These delectable Bacon Wrapped Shrimp are a fantastic blend of savory and sweet, making them the perfect appetizers for any occasion. Easy to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb sliced bacon, thin-cut
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • â…“ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with foil.
  • Combine melted butter, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Marinate shrimp in the mixture for 15 minutes.
  • Wrap each shrimp in bacon and secure with toothpicks.
  • Place shrimp on the baking tray and sprinkle with half the brown sugar.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes, flip shrimp, and add remaining brown sugar.
  • Bake for an additional 7-8 minutes until shrimp is pink and bacon is crispy.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the shrimp; they should be pink and firm when done.
For easier handling, use foil-lined trays that are greased to prevent sticking.
Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
