- 1 lbs mascarpone cheese room temp
- 27 ladyfingers
- 1 cup espresso
- 2 tablespoon irish cream
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cold heavy cream, sugar, Irish cream, vanilla extract, and vanilla instant pudding. Mix until soft peaks form using an electric hand mixer.
- Add the room-temperature mascarpone cheese and blend until smooth and creamy, being careful not to overmix to prevent curdling.
- Prepare a quick espresso and Baileys mixture in a shallow bowl. Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture (1-2 seconds), then arrange them in a single layer in a 13 by 9-inch baking dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Layer another set of dipped ladyfingers on top, followed by a thin layer of the mascarpone cream.
- Transfer the remaining filling to a piping bag fitted with a round tip, and pipe dollops of cream over the thin layer of mascarpone.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to let the ladyfingers soften. Before serving, generously dust the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
Notes
For an extra flavor boost, consider substituting coffee with a flavored espresso.
Ensure the mascarpone is at room temperature for smoother incorporation into the cream mixture.
Chilling the dessert overnight will enhance the flavors and texture.
