Ingredients
- Brie cheese (8 ounces)
- Good-quality fruit preserves (â…“ cup)
- Chopped nuts (¼ cup)
- Honey or maple syrup (1 tablespoon, optional)
- Fresh herbs or berries (optional)
- Serving options include sliced baguette, crostini, crackers, apple or pear slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the cold wheel of brie on the parchment paper.
- Score the top rind with shallow crosshatch cuts.
- Spoon fruit preserves over the brie.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts over the preserves.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until soft and gooey.
- Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes, then drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Transfer to a serving platter and serve with baguette, crackers, or fruit slices.
Notes
Avoid cutting the brie too deeply when scoring; just cut the rind.
Let the brie sit out for 15 minutes before baking for better melting.
