Description

Chilli Garlic Butter Roasted Cabbage Wedges offer an irresistible flavor profile, combining buttery richness with chili and garlic. Perfect for a quick dinner or a snack!


Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chilli crisp (or 1 tsp dried chilli flakes)
  • 1 sweetheart cabbage
  • 4 tbsp Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp hazelnuts (chopped, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and cut the sweetheart cabbage into quarters.
  • Melt 3 tbsp butter in a bowl and mix with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and chilli crisp or flakes.
  • Brush the butter blend on cabbage wedges, coating all sides, and place on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes until charred; adjust time if dense.
  • Melt remaining 1 tbsp butter in a pan, add Panko and additional garlic powder, stirring until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle toasted breadcrumbs, chopped hazelnuts, and parsley on roasted cabbage before serving.

Notes

Cabbage can be cut evenly for even roasting.
Toast breadcrumbs for extra crunch and flavor; monitor them carefully while toasting.
Use fresh herbs for additional flavor enhancement.
