- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chilli crisp (or 1 tsp dried chilli flakes)
- 1 sweetheart cabbage
- 4 tbsp Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp hazelnuts (chopped, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and cut the sweetheart cabbage into quarters.
- Melt 3 tbsp butter in a bowl and mix with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and chilli crisp or flakes.
- Brush the butter blend on cabbage wedges, coating all sides, and place on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes until charred; adjust time if dense.
- Melt remaining 1 tbsp butter in a pan, add Panko and additional garlic powder, stirring until golden brown.
- Sprinkle toasted breadcrumbs, chopped hazelnuts, and parsley on roasted cabbage before serving.
Notes
Cabbage can be cut evenly for even roasting.
Toast breadcrumbs for extra crunch and flavor; monitor them carefully while toasting.
