Ingredients
- mint flavored oreos – 24 cookies
- semisweet chocolate disks – 16 ounces
- peppermint extract – 1/4 teaspoon
- green sprinkles – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Place semisweet chocolate disks in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Mix in peppermint extract with the melted chocolate until well combined.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Dip each Oreo cookie into the chocolate using a fork. Remove and tap the fork on the bowl's side to let excess chocolate drip off.
- Set the chocolate-coated Oreos on the lined baking sheet.
- Transfer remaining melted chocolate to a piping bag or a Ziploc bag with a snipped corner.
- Drizzle the chocolate over the cookies and immediately sprinkle with green sprinkles.
- Allow the cookies to sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes, or refrigerate for 15 minutes until set.
