Description

These Christmas Tree Brownies with Chocolate Buttercream Bliss bring holiday cheer with their rich chocolate flavor and festive shapes. Perfect for sharing!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 8 oz Dark Chocolate
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 23 tbsp Milk/Cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and dark chocolate in a medium bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  • Whisk in granulated sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  • Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until set and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool brownies for 15 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Whip softened butter in a large bowl until fluffy, then mix in powdered sugar and cocoa until smooth.
  • Pipe chocolate buttercream on cooled brownies to create festive tree shapes and add decorations.

Notes

Store brownies at room temperature for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
For a vegan option, substitute eggs with flax or chia eggs.
Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
