Description

Circus Animal Cookie Rice Krispie Treats offer a delightful blend of flavors and colors, perfect for parties or snack time. With simple ingredients like circus animal cookies and colorful sprinkles, these treats are easy to make and irresistibly fun!

Ingredients

  • circus animal cookies – 9 ounces
  • mini marshmallows – 10 ounces
  • rice krispies cereal – 6 cups
  • unsalted butter – 4 tablespoons
  • multi-colored nonpareils – 3 tablespoons
  • colored sprinkles – 3 tablespoons
  • white chocolate chips – 1/2 cup
  • red food coloring – 1-2 drops
  • heavy cream (optional) – 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Pulse cookies in a food processor until they are a mix of crumbs and small pieces. Reserve 1/2 cup.
  • In a large pot, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and fold in cereal, cookie crumbles, and 2 tablespoons of each sprinkle type.
  • Gently press the mixture into the prepared pan using a greased silicone spatula.
  • Top with reserved cookie pieces.
  • Melt white chocolate chips in two separate bowls in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Drizzle the first bowl of plain white chocolate over the treats using a sandwich bag with the corner cut off.
  • Add red food coloring to the second bowl to make pink chocolate, then drizzle in the opposite direction.
  • Top with remaining sprinkles and let cool until set.

Notes

Ensure to reserve cookie pieces for topping to enhance flavor and decoration.
Using colored food sprinkles adds a vibrant touch for festivities.
For a creamier texture, consider adding heavy cream when melting chocolate.
