Description

This Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball is a crowd-pleasing appetizer with creamy cheese, sweet cranberries, and crunchy pecans. Perfect for holidays or gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and shredded cheddar until smooth.
  • Fold in 1/2 cup cranberries, 1/2 cup pecans, and 1 tablespoon chives.
  • Shape the mixture into a ball using plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.
  • Mix remaining cranberries, pecans, and chives on a plate.
  • Remove cheese ball from fridge and roll it in the mixture to coat.
  • Let the cheese ball rest at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving with crackers.

Notes

Allow the cream cheese to soften to ensure smooth mixing.
