Description

These Easy Churro Rice Krispie Treats bring a nostalgic twist with their gooey marshmallow texture and warm cinnamon flavor, perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows (about 4 cups), plus 1 extra cup reserved
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • â…“ cup brown sugar
  • â…“ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)
  • Nonstick spray or butter (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

  • Brown the butter until golden and nutty.
  • Add marshmallows, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla; stir until melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies to coat.
  • Fold in reserved marshmallows gently.
  • Press mixture into a greased pan evenly.
  • Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on top of bars.
  • Cool completely, then cut into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature. They can also be refrigerated or frozen for longer storage.
Avoid pressing the mixture too tightly into the pan for a soft texture.
