Description

Treat yourself to the Easy cupids-potion-float, a delightful blend of vanilla ice cream and strawberry syrup. This easy-to-make dessert is perfect for any occasion, featuring creamy textures and sweet flavors that melt in your mouth, bringing joy to food enthusiasts everywhere.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup strawberry syrup
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, with stems
  • whipped cream
  • edible glitter or sprinkles

Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients, ensuring the vanilla ice cream is well-frozen and softened slightly if needed. Have the strawberry syrup, heavy cream, milk, optional rose water, and drained maraschino cherries ready.
  • In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, strawberry syrup, heavy cream, milk, and optional rose water. Blend until thick and smooth, resembling a milkshake consistency.
  • Blend on medium-high speed until creamy with no ice chunks remaining. Add a tablespoon of milk at a time if it’s too thick, but avoid making it too runny.
  • Pour the thick mixture into a tall serving glass, filling it about three-quarters full.
  • Top with whipped cream if desired. Garnish with maraschino cherries (with stems) and optional edible glitter or sprinkles for a magical touch.
  • Serve immediately with a long spoon and a straw.

Notes

Edible glitter or sprinkles can be adjusted for a festive touch during special occasions.
To keep the float cold, place the serving glasses in the freezer for a few minutes before pouring in the mixture.
