- 14 count Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 0.55 pound honey ham slices
- 0.3 pound provolone cheese slices
- 1.1 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1.1 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 0.55 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Slice the rolls horizontally into top and bottom halves.
- Invert the rolls with crust sides facing inward.
- Layer ham evenly over the bottom half of rolls.
- Add provolone cheese on top of ham.
- Sprinkle seasoned salt and dried minced onion over the cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls on the cheese, pressing down gently.
- Spread mayonnaise on the top surface.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Grill the sandwich with mayonnaise side down, spreading mayo on the top side.
- Cover and cook until the bottom is golden (4-5 minutes).
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted (4-5 minutes).
- Remove from skillet and slice before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a day at room temperature.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until warmed through.
For longer storage, freeze individual portions for up to three months.
