Description

This Green Goddess Veggie Pizza features a vibrant blend of fresh ingredients, creamy mozzarella, and nutty pesto. Perfect for any gathering, it’s healthy and bursting with flavor!


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups organic all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 Tbsp organic raw honey
  • 1 packet rapid-rise yeast (about 2 ¼ tsps)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, for brushing
  • ½1 cup pesto sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced or cubed
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
  • 1/4 lb. asparagus, chopped + roasted
  • 1 cup chopped kale, organic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 500°F and prepare a non-stick pizza pan.
  • Mix warm water, honey, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  • Gradually combine flour and Italian seasoning; mix to form a soft dough.
  • Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Shape the dough into an 11-inch round and place in the oiled pizza pan.
  • Spread pesto over the crust, leaving edges uncovered.
  • Layer chopped kale, mozzarella, asparagus, and apple slices on top.
  • Brush crust edges with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until crust is golden and mozzarella is bubbly.
  • Cool for 2-3 minutes, slice, and serve with Green Goddess Dressing and pistachios.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute with a gluten-free flour blend.
Consider using homemade pesto for the best flavor.
