- 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk or beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet for about 7 to 8 minutes; drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk or broth, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In the baking dish, combine cooked rice, beef mixture, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese, then add the creamy sauce and mix well.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top, cover with foil, and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Optionally broil for an additional 2 minutes for a crispier top.
