Description

This Healthy Crockpot Tater Tot Casserole offers rich flavors from seasoned beef, gooey cheese, and crispy tots all in one. Perfect for a quick, satisfying dinner that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • Frozen Tater Tots (32 ounces)
  • Ground Beef (1 pound)
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese (2 cups, divided)
  • Cheese Sauce (10.5 ounces)
  • Taco Seasoning (1 tablespoon)
  • Minced Onion (½ tablespoon)
  • Fresh Cilantro (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare your crockpot by spraying the insides with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Layer half of the frozen tater tots at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Mix cooked ground beef with cheese sauce, taco seasoning, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • Spread the beef mixture over the tater tots evenly.
  • Add the remaining tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2½ hours until bubbling and cheese is melted.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
For freezing, use a freezer-safe container and consume within 3 months.
Reheat in the microwave or oven, adding a little cheese on top for best results.
