Description
These heart palmiers feature crispy layers and sweet caramel flavor, perfect for sharing on special occasions. Easy to prepare with puff pastry and white chocolate.

- 1 ½ cups white granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 bag white chocolate melting chips
- ¾ cup Valentine’s nonpareil sprinkles
Instructions
- Combine sugar and salt in a bowl.
- Sprinkle sugar mixture over a clean surface and place puff pastry on top.
- Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture on top and press into the dough.
- Score a light vertical line down the center, fold the sides to the center, and chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice chilled dough into ½-inch pieces and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
- Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.
- Once cooled, dip edges of palmiers into melted chocolate and sprinkle with nonpareils.
Notes
Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
For longer storage, refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for 3 months.
Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F for a few minutes before serving.
