Description

Ingredients

  • All-butter pie crust
  • Chopped pecans (2 cups)
  • Unsalted butter (1 stick, 4 oz)
  • Light brown sugar (1 cup)
  • Heavy cream (2/3 cup)
  • Pure maple syrup (1/2 cup)
  • Bourbon (3 tablespoons)
  • Kosher salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Ground cinnamon (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Vanilla bean paste (1 teaspoon)
  • Eggs (3, room temperature)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare pie crust, chill for 30 minutes.
  • Partially blind bake the crust for about 20 minutes.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and toast pecans for 6-8 minutes.
  • Make the filling by melting butter, adding brown sugar, cream, and other ingredients, then cooling.
