- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup water
- Green onions, chopped, for garnish
- Cooked white rice, for serving
Instructions
- Remove the skin from the salmon and cut it into 1-inch cubes, patting them dry with paper towels.
- Toss salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned salmon cubes for 4-5 minutes until golden and flakey.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan and whisk in maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, white wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, and water. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add cooked salmon to the skillet and toss in the glaze for 1-2 minutes until well coated.
- Transfer to a platter, garnish with green onions, and serve over rice or alone.
