Description

This One Pot Gnocchi with Sausage and Kale is a deliciously creamy and comforting dish. With its quick prep and rich flavors, it’s perfect for family dinners or gatherings with friends.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. mild Italian chicken sausage
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup onion (diced)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 32 oz. chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 lb. gnocchi
  • 1 bunch kale (chopped and stems removed)
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • Red pepper flakes to taste

Instructions

  • Brown the sausage in a hot skillet, then remove.
  • Sauté the onion until translucent, then add garlic, seasoning, and salt.
  • Sprinkle flour over veggies, whisk in broth and cream, cook until thickened.
  • Add gnocchi, stirring until they float; then mix in kale and sausage.
  • Stir in parmesan, season to taste, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
For freezing, portion out and store for up to 3 months.
Reheat with a splash of broth or cream for best texture.
