Description

Ingredients

  • Ground Beef (1 ½ lb)
  • Potatoes (1 lb, diced)
  • Onion (1 medium, diced)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Paprika (2 tsp)
  • Dried Thyme (¼ tsp)
  • Dried Oregano (1 tsp)
  • Cumin (½ tsp)
  • Salt & Black Pepper
  • Butter (2 tbsp)
  • Water or Beef Broth (1 cup)
  • Fresh Parsley or Green Onions for Garnish

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt half of the butter.
  • Add ground beef, crumble and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper, add spices, and set the beef aside.
  • Sauté diced onion in the skillet until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Stir in diced potatoes, cooking until they start to brown, about 5–6 minutes.
  • Add broth or water, bring to a simmer, and cover. Cook until potatoes are fork-tender, about 10–12 minutes.
  • Return ground beef to skillet, mix, and heat for another 4 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute with ground turkey or plant-based protein.
Feel free to include leftover veggies for added nutrition.
