- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp cold water
- Cooked rice
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- Brown the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Add chopped onions and green bell peppers, sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Incorporate drained mushrooms and mix for an additional minute.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix and pour in water, stirring well.
- Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- Make a slurry with cornstarch and cold water, then thicken the gravy in the skillet.
