Ingredients
- Unsalted Butter (115 g)
- White Cheddar Cheese (170 g, shredded)
- Sweet Italian Sausage (225 g, casings removed)
- Celery (2 large ribs, finely chopped)
- Yellow Onion (1 small, finely chopped)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Fresh Parsley (2 tbsp, finely chopped)
- Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1 tbsp)
- Seasoned Stuffing Mix (1/2 box, approx. 85 g)
- Water (120 ml)
- Refrigerated Flaky Biscuit Dough (1 tube, e.g., Pillsbury Grands!)
- Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
- Cook sausage in olive oil until browned, then add celery and onion until soft.
- Stir in garlic and cook for another minute. Mix in stuffing, water, cheese, and parsley, then season to taste.
- Make parsley butter by mixing softened butter and parsley.
- Layer biscuit halves with parsley butter, cheese, and stuffing, then stack them in the loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute sausage with turkey or plant-based options.
