Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a cake pan with butter and flour.
  • Combine dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
  • In a mixer, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, then mix in lemon zest and molasses.
