Description

Valentine Easy Strawberry Cream Cheese Strudel offers irresistible flavor and simple preparation. With flaky layers and creamy filling, it’s perfect for breakfasts or desserts!


Ingredients

  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (1 tube, 8 oz)
  • Cream Cheese (1 package, 8 oz, softened)
  • Powdered Sugar (1 cup)
  • Strawberry Pie Filling (1 ½ cups)
  • Egg (1, beaten)
  • Sugar, for sprinkling
  • Powdered Sugar (½ cup)
  • Milk (1 tbsp)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the Crescent rolls on the sheet and press the seams together to form an even base.
  • Slice 1-inch strips down both sides of the dough, leaving space in the center for filling.
  • Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then spread down the center of the dough.
  • Spoon strawberry pie filling over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Braid the strips over the filling, alternating sides.
  • Brush egg over the top and sprinkle sugar on the strudel.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for icing, then drizzle over cooled strudel.
