- 1 1/4 cups Sugar
- 1 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Corn Syrup
- 1 cup + 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
- Prepare a 9×13 pan with aluminum foil and grease with butter.
- In a saucepan, combine butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, and 1 cup of heavy cream over medium heat.
- Bring to a gentle boil, stirring in the additional 1 cup of heavy cream until the mixture reaches 240°F.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract with care.
- Pour the caramel into the prepared pan without scraping the sides.
- Allow to cool until firm, then lift out of the pan to cut into pieces and wrap individually.
