- 1 tbsp + 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Warm Water
- 6 tbsp + 3 tbsp Dairy-Free Butter (softened)
- 1 1/4 cups + 2 tbsp Almond Milk
- 3 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Vegan Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Activate the yeast by combining it with brown sugar and warm water; let it foam for about 10 minutes.
- Melt dairy-free butter and almond milk together; cool slightly before mixing with the yeast.
- Combine flour and salt in a large bowl. Mix in the wet ingredients to form a shaggy dough.
- Knead dough until smooth and elastic, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about an hour.
- Mix cinnamon and brown sugar for the filling while the dough rises.
- Roll out the dough to a rectangle, spread the filling, and roll tightly.
- Cut into rolls and place in a baking dish, allowing to rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the glaze with powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and almond milk; drizzle over rolls after they cool slightly.

For a gluten-free option, substitute with a gluten-free flour blend.
