  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 medium zucchinis, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and season it with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Layer the zucchini slices over the tomato sauce.
  • Add half of the cooked ground beef on top of the zucchini slices.
  • Dollop ricotta cheese on top and spread it evenly.
  • Repeat the layering process, concluding with a layer of zucchini slices.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top layer.
